About the Sale: Dr. & Mrs. Roberson have never had a sale. Dr. Roberson died at the age of 97 and his estate consists of heirlooms and collectibles from each deacade. The sale is rich with history from the Chattanooga area, as well as local church history. This estate sale features some very interesting missionary gifts. The Robersons like many of their generation were pack rats who never threw anything away, as you will see from the contents of the sale. There are 13 of Dr. Robersons famous double breasted suits in the sale, along with many awards to both he and Mrs. Roberson. Volumes from Dr. Robersons personal library will also be sold. The sale is full of fine china and glassware. There is an abundance of mahogany and oak furniture, old toys and collectibles of all types. Dr. Roberson was one of the most influential men in our community and all items from his home will be special treasures to keep and remember him.
Directions: From Downtown Chattanooga, take Bailey Ave. toward Brainerd Rd, turn right onto S. Hawethorne, go two blocks to the old Highland Park Elementary School on the left. The estate sale will be held on the ground level of the building and parking will be adjacent to the building.
