About Highland Park Neighborhood Association

The Highland Park Neighborhood Association (HPNA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization representing the interests of the Highland Park residents. Started in August 1990, the HPNA is recognized as one of the strongest organizations of its kind in Chattanooga and has a solid network of residents and city leaders dedicated to enriching the lives of Highland Park’s diverse community.

The HPNA, headquartered in a building leased from the City of Chattanooga at the corner of Duncan Avenue and Hawthorne Street, provides and promotes programs, services and activities aimed at encouraging connections between neighbors and fostering civic involvement in our diverse community.

The Highland Park neighborhood’s boundaries are Willow on the east, Holtzclaw on the west, McCallie on the north, and Main on the south.

Highland Park aspires to be a racially and economically diverse, harmonious community that attracts a wide range of people who want to share a sense of community in a historic urban neighborhood.
